Overall my life hasn’t been affected much. I didn’t realise how antisocial I was.
When lock-down was announced my wife was a little panicked as were my kids. Me personally? Not so much. I work in a food distribution warehouse so I have to make sure all the shops are well stocked. We supply Spar, Somerfield and Boots.
We’ve always shopped in bulk because I hate going back to shops over and over again and we’d just recently done a big shop so I wasn’t too fussed.
As the country started to lock down my daily routine didn’t change much. Work, home and sleep. A little boring maybe but it works for me.
There have been some changes, like I get to see the kids a little more and it’s been fun homeschooling them. There have been more changes at work than at home.
I only remember we’re under lock-down when I drive to work and there is no traffic or when we have had to go to the supermarket where once again lock-down has become apparent.
There have been some positives too as we’ve noticed many of the gangs of youths have disappeared off the streets.
Also I’ve been able to catch up on a lot of TV series and games. I’ve 100% completed 17 games in lock-down, all achievements done!
