A Bristol City Council employee has shared these videos to the archive, which tell a story of a city-wide coming together of volunteers throughout the pandemic, supporting their neighbours at grass roots level,in the spirit of mutual aid.

Providing help such as phone befriending, shopping, and picking up prescriptions for those who can’t leave the house, or organising food banks and vouchers for those who are without food, volunteers tell us what they have discovered over the last few months about themselves and their community.

Thanks to Community Development Bristol at Bristol City Council for the videos.
